Hello, World ... I'm

Before I tell you about myself, I've got great news. I was chosen to serve as the "Spokes-purr-son" for a new local website called Chillitown. Its all about Chillicothe, Ohio, my new home ... local news, weather, business, shopping, sports, entertainment, everything ! I'm gonna judge contests, answer your questions about pet care (in consultation with my veterinarian, Dr. Brian B. Petzel, DVM), and award my Paws of Approval to notable websites, links, and other neat stuff.

My folks are so proud of me cuz no, its not their website. Some other people did it and want me to be part of it. So please visit me there, too.

I think I was born around August 22, 1998 in Columbus, OH. I was wandering the streets and some folks known as GOOD SAM picked me up and took me to the Capital Area Humane Society. Its a very nice place, very clean and well appointed, but not where you'd want to spend the rest of your life ... not in a cage, and not next to a room full of barking dogs.
 

Well, I guess you heard how Howard and Diane lost their dear $pecky (my uncle, they tell me). I never knew him, but I've seen pictures and heard wonderful stories about him. Anyway, they came to this shelter once before looking for a little black and white male kitty -- not to replace $peck, but to honor his memory by giving another little friend a chance for a better life.

On their second trip there, October 10th, "a day that will go down in infamy," (yeah, I watch the History Channel), I saw them come into the room and ... well ... you know ... it was love at first sight !
