He treated us as if we made the sun rise and set,

but he had the power to change the seasons of our lives.

We subjected him to insulin shots and pills twice a day for years,

yet he showed us the meaning of patience, endurance and unconditional love.

His passing brought tears of sorrow to all who knew him,
